Welcome to the P6 page of our school website! We’re thrilled to have you here and excited to share what our amazing P6 students are up to this year.

WAU (World Around Us)

This term, we’re diving into the fascinating world of the Vikings. Our big question is: Do they deserve their bloodthirsty reputation? Through engaging activities and research, students will explore Viking history, culture, and their impact on the world.

Numeracy

In Numeracy, we’re focusing on:

• Addition and Subtraction: Building strong foundational skills.
• Money: Understanding its value and how to use mental strategies for adding and subtracting.
• Properties of Lines and 2D Shapes: Exploring geometry in fun and interactive ways.

Literacy

Our Literacy lessons will be all about procedural writing. Students will learn how to write clear and effective instructions, a valuable skill for many aspects of life.
