Grandparents’ Day
Wednesday 22 January is designated as "Grandparents’ Day". We welcome all grandparents of existing pupils to join us for Mass at 10:00 a.m. and then back to the school hall for tea/ coffee and biscuits. You will then have the chance to go to classrooms to play games and work with your grandchildren. You can bring a packed lunch and stay for the remainder of the day if you wish!
I wish to stress that, although it is called, Grandparents’ Day, you don’t have to have grandchildren or family in our school. It’s ‘Open House’ for anyone in the parish or beyond.
It might be nice for any older people who attend morning mass to simply come over and have a cup of tea, served by the Year 7 children, and a chat – sure it would ‘pass the morning’ as they say...
